Alvin Bhawanie

Alvin has over 20 years of experience in the alternative banking and hedge fund industry. He is involved in new business initiatives through contributing to the development of business strategy, client relationship management and acts as an alternative Director to hedge fund clients in the Cayman Islands. He also supports the business in compliance with both regulatory and statutory responsibilities. Prior to that, Mr. Bhawanie worked at Caledonian Fund Services (Cayman) Limited, were he was the Operations and Business Development Manager, providing fund administration services to a wide range of hedge fund clients. Before that, he worked at TD Securities Inc. (Prime Brokerage) in Toronto, where he worked on the trading desk as a Relationship Manager providing services to prime brokerage clients. Mr. Bhawanie received his undergraduate degree in Economics and Management Studies from the University of Toronto in 2000. He also holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management.
